030416; Super Chill Sunday ft. Rifqa!. ^^ :)

Olla!

I was invited by Rifqa's lil' sis to watch her Angklung performance in the Crescent Girls' 60th Anniversary Musical Evening.

(That's a mouthful.)

Seeing that I really enjoy Angklung (and want to be in a band), I went for it!

We got on the right train and everything this time (heheheh) and headed to The Cathay for lunner.

Headed to Makisan where I tried a different roll concoction in a much more logical size, and this time it was waaay more tasty!

As we made our way to Singapore Conference Hall, we followed the groups of girls who we assumed were going to there too.

So we followed..

Then at one point we happened to be in the front so they followed us.

We had no idea where we were going and they realised that it wasn't the right path so they turned back HAHAHA.

But we made it!

Slight difficulty in choosing seats.

It was a really lovely performance, though!

They played Mission Impossible's Theme Song, Mamma Mia and a couple of other pretty popular and traditional songs.

Got to know that the conductor is a lady from Indonesia who mastered (teaching) Angklung, and her husband is also in the same line!

Some of the songs were arranged by him too!

So cool.

Rather awkward but great job, Yana!! ^^ :)

The Concert Band played a few cool songs too, but my favorite's probably the Mario Theme Song.

Duh.

The concert ended at about 7PM - how weird to exit a performance and see that the sun's still up!

But here I thought the sky looked really pretty.

We decided to make it an extremely chill Sunday so we headed to Bayfront and MBS for a few things.

One of which was to satisfy my cravings for a Slurpee.

So yes we went to MBS for the 7 Eleven.

It's a pretty huge store, quite interesting.

Rifqa decided to get her first drink from GongCha (woohoo!!).

Walked around and chose a spot to sit and chat for some time.

We had to.

Hee.

Another lovely day with this babe.

Always a good time.
