September goes on.

Hello there :)
Think I might keep up with this weekly posts until school starts.
Because I love snapping pictures whenever I go out, but it's difficult to type out reasons behind each picture in tweets or captions.
So this blog shall hold all these pixelated memories.
LETS GO.
Went to Mustafa Center to get some things with Mum, Grandmum & Iman.
Woke up, showered, got ready and set off immediately.
So obviously I was hungry.
So we went to Komala Villas and I had what I always get whenever I eat there.
Paper Thosai.
Yum.
They had Bathura.
Bathura's really good too but for some reason I just cannot give Paper Thosai a pass.
So we walked around, getting some of the randomest things while snapping a couple pictures.
I don't know, because he's wearing a beanie.
And he had some hair sticking up at the front.
Then that weekend, The Dzuls dropped by after picking Mum up.
Mum bought a baguette and they didn't cut it in half, so of course Dzulkurry had to turn it into a guitar.
:'D
And of course I had to take pictures with Afi :>

Went out to a little food trip with Atiqah & Melati one Thursday.
Headed to Seoul Garden and I was too focused on eating at the start that I forgot to snap pictures, guys.
I'm sorry.
I actually thought they didn't let us put 10 layers of ice cream in the bowl.
Turns out they were actually referring to the bowls itself....right?
Stuff to put into your Ice Kacang/Chendol/etc!
Came over and the little boy said "This one Brown, Green and Pink!" while pointing to the respective bowls.
I just went "Ok thanks~!" and then thought I should've been abit nicer hahaha.
Good thing Atiqah was there because I wouldn't have been able to place the ice into the machine.
BUT TADAA~!.
Made my own Ice Kacang for the first time~!.

Also drank the Lemon Tea there and thought it was too sour.
"What brand Lemon Tea is this?"
"NESTEAAAAAAAAAAA~" :'D
(Pronounce Nasty. Pun intended.)
Hehehehe.
We then headed to Salted Caramel just because (Yishun had nothing).
Salted Caramel x Cookies & Cream.
We just chilled and (quite literally) "made" a new friend :'D
Hahaha Atiqah's like "oh helllll nawwwww" :'D
Had a good time talking about probably the randomest things and laughing at almost anything if not everything :'D
Oh yes I also made Oreo Truffles the night before.
Haven't made these in years.
Was so worried that it might start melting by the time I get it into their hands so I looked up on tempering chocolate.
I think I might've succeeded with the Semi-Sweet Chocolate (the darker one) but not very much with the Milk Chocolate.
Probably because they had different melting temperatures and I used the "seeding" method.
I liked the one with the Milk Choc ones better, just because I personally do not like the bitter chocolate very much.
I also think that the SS Choc coating was a little too thick.
Ahhh I'm sorry for writing a reflection paragraph of what I made hahaha but bakers would know :P
Met this babe for a drink and "grocery" shopping too :>
Managed to catch up on quite a few things and had good laughs too! :)
Little adventure around Bugis with Dina & Rifqa.
Decided to have lunch at Nandos (sorry Pastamania).
It was our first time and I think we made the waiter feel a little too awkward haha.
Green Tea, Lemon Tea, Sparkling Apple.
Rifqa: Have you tried drinks from Nestea?
Lin: Yes IT'S NESTEAAAAAAAAAAAA~! HAHAHAHA.
(Yes pun intended too :P)
Had the Angry Mango Wrap.
It was a little weird to say "Angry Mango" though.
Had it on its own and it seemed so pathetic on the big plate.
But I thought it was pretty good, the chikkin was moist and the sauce was nice (I picked Hot).
Just wish there was a little more mango.
Dina: Lin, your plate's so clean.
Lin: Yes, my Dad would be proud.
Hahahaha.
Walked down Haji Lane and went into shops with steep steps, surprising bells and kitties.
Kinda found a little artwork of Rifqa on a wall too.
Also dropped by Masjid Sultan.
Had some embarrassing moments and found out from the babes that the black area just under the dome(?) on top are made of empty bottles of Soy Sauce. :O
Made a little research and learned that the Sultan had collected the glass bottles from the "poorer" Muslims because wanted contributions from all Muslims, not just the "richer" ones. :')
(I don't need to reference that now do I)
Gotta loooooove how I was the tallest for the day ^^
Lololol at how my hair is resting on Rifqa's shoulder :'D
Walked around and shopped till nightfall and talked about how it felt like we were at a vacation because of the places we went and how tired we were but still wanted to shop some more :P
Had a lonely train ride for both journeys on the red line :(
Reached home and crashed, but was happy with my buys ^^
It has been two days and my legs are still aching from all the walking heehee.
Should've worked for at least 1 1/4 of these two months so I could shop (and save lol).
Ah well, shall do that the next Sem break I guess.
Which is so far away :'(

Counting down my days back to reality.
've got a few more things to share with you.
Till then. :>
Du vet jeg elsker deg.
Goodbye

SEPTEMBER SO FAR!. ;)

Hello :)
Here's a quickie on what I've been up to the past week.
One-day shopping & eating trip to Jaybee with the family + Aunt Kay!.
The bus moved so I cut my face off.
Mandatory camwhoring session with the brother.

Reached and headed straight to the rooftop for food!.
LOOK THEY SELL SHAWARMA!.
Remember in Avengers when Iron Man "came back to life" and talked about the Shwarma joint or something??
Or am I the only one who gets it hahahaha :')
City Square had some renovations done and the food court moved up to the roof with pretty much a whole new concept.
Had food-related quotes everywhere too.
I quite liked it.
I was having a mad Prata craving a couple of days before the trip guys, so I had to go for the Prata.
This one's the Prata Tissue, which the guy kinda failed at making it the usual cone shape but it's the taste that matters I guess.
Especially when you're hungry.
The taste was good.
Also had a plain Prata which I shared with Dad.
I told you I was craving.
Hotplate Noodles.
Satay.
The Satay was really good by the way, I recommend this!
The stall is in the row along with the desserts and Ayam Penyet. :D
Walked around and shopped until we felt the need to munch again.
OH THERE WAS ALSO A POINT WHERE IMAN WAS SO INTERESTED IN WHAT WAS IN THE SHOP THAT HE WENT FACE-FIRST INTO THE GLASS OUTSIDE HAHAHAHA :'D
So we tried the Crepes!.
Banana Chocolate (top) and Almond Chocolate (bottom).
Not sure why the bottom picture is smaller-ised but ah well.
The toilets had these signs to differentiate the Males & Females and thought I found it a little confusing HAHA why would they combine them together!.
So look out for the jutting out skirt, ladies.
The Crepe shop had cute heart shape tables for loners like me tho ahahah.
We also had Mee Rebus where they gave green chillis that were so spicy it killed my throat.
I mean, where do you ever find spicy green chilli (that is not chilli padi)?! :'D
It was worth it though.
Actually reached home at about 10pm.
Quite happy with my buys, though the brother prolly shopped even more than me this time.
Favorite buys would prolly be these ear studs and a Watermelon-colored hair tie.
The studs were 3 for RM10 so I had to get six right?!?!
(Gave one to Aunt Kay, that's why there's only five. I'm not seeing double.)
Really fun day, cant wait for the next getaway.
^^
Woke up Friday morning only to find out my results.
Heard that they would give out texts but I didn't get one, so I had to log on into the student portal.
Knew I couldn't go on with the day if I didn't check my results first, so I did it.
Went home that night only to realize they actually mailed me my results too.
So I guess it makes up for the no-text. :'D

Headed out to school to settle some things and then met these babesies.
The bus ride to school was so empty it was almost amazing. :')
Relived our first meal out together at JEM's Pastamania :'D
Shared a 7" Hawaiian with Rifqa because she couldn't hold back her love for KFC and I cooked myself some breakfast that morning.
Walked around JEM and then when we hit H&M, the devil around me (ahem) made me purchase some things :P
Pretty happy with the buys tho, wish I brought a little more to spend hehehe.
We planned to watch a movie but then we realized that JEM's cinema wasn't opened yet so we went over to the neighbouring mall, J Cube.
Decided that there wasn't much movies that we were interested in watching, so we window shopped and chilled by the ice skating rink and watched people fall and glide~ :>
Heehee.
Read:
SORRY NO SITTING IS ALLOWED
:'D A bit of a redundant deco huh.
We then headed to Toy Outpost where we decided to buy some badges and we took a helluva long time deciding which of the badges to buy.
We had to pick 6 or 12 and trust me, it sounds really easy but apparently we are girls so obviously it was one of the most difficult decisions we must make.
And lastly, we tried to recreate one of our previous pictures yet again. :')
How did we do this time? :)
Also gave Nathasha her presents in quite an order;
Dina when we all just met, Rifqa somewhere in the middle of everything and me when we were on the way home.
Standing from Jurong East all the way back isn't a joke though.
Especially when you're left alone at the end :'( Hehe.
Had a really good time that day, so thank you babesies. ^^
Should I leave you with one of my recent cooking achievements??
Hahaha ok I shall.
I tried out 2 recipes for a pizza recently.
One of them is a yeast-based dough and another isn't.
The first used Plain Yogurt.
Which you just used a butter knife and make cutting motions until the dough came together.
And then you knead it for a few minutes until it became elastic.
I apologise for making such a bad border crust that the eggs spilled down.
But it was nice to snack on after.
As you can probably already tell, the base was dense, not fluffy as we all know with pizzas.
And I have always not liked Plain Yogurt because I found that there's a scent/flavor to it, much of that like sour cream..?
So the dough tasted a little sour to me and I didn't really like it.
Not sure if I went wrong somewhere in the recipe that affected the pizza base though. :/

For the next Pizza, I used yeast.
I didn't take pictures of the process before this but you do the same thing with the flour and liquid with the butter knife.
And then you knead it until your arm feels like it's going to fall off.
Cover it with olive oil, leave it in a warm spot to rise for about an hour and then it's time to be delighted for the first time of the day.
I love love love working with yeast doughs haha I love poking and working with it after proofing, it's probably the softest thing ever.
I divided the dough into two by the way, so I kinda made smaller pizzas.
You don't even need a rolling pin to roll it out, just be a little careful when stretching it out but it's a really forgiving dough so you can just pinch it back together if you tear it.
I used some Pasta sauce.
Pepperoni.
Bacon.
Cheese.
(I used Cheddar, that's why it's yellower.)
Aaaand tada!.
Get ready to be delighted for the second time of the day!.
See how fluffy the base of this one is, with the air pockets/holes??
Mmhmm, really happy with the outcome of this one.
Will be trying out other pizza toppings the next time, and I'll show you when I do!
Oh even The Dzuls ate this one hahaha they were just so cute.
So I hereby conclude..
PIZZA MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!.
:D

So this has been my September so far!.
How's yours?!. :')

Du vet jeg elsker deg.
