2.2 THINGS: Mad week!. ^^ :)

ELLO
2.2 has been pretty hectic so far, but here are some of the things I've been doing.
Other than getting frequent runny nose and coughs here and there..
Really trying to keep my immune system going especially with the insufficient rest I've been getting.
No, seriously though, is being in Polytechnic supposed to be like this?
So much work, all kinds of work and insufficient rest.
Do working adults even have sufficient rest at all, ever? :/
We made butter in Ms Mona's class!
It starts off with Whipping Cream.
I've always known that cream turns into butter if you whip it too long,
but never really made it.. :>
After much shaking.
Ms Mona helped too, cause we were a 2-person group and I was coughing my guts out. :')
Weeeeeee~!
We tasted it and it tasted horrible. :'D
LOOOOOOK BUTTER!
Added some Garlic Salt and Dried Herbs to make....
YAAAAAAAAAS Garlic Bread!! ^^
Ms Mona even toasted it less cause of my bad throat. :')
BUT IT WAS DELICIOUS. *.*

Headed to Natha's place that weekend to clear up assignments.
Nomnoms by Natha's Mum.
;
This bowl of grated cheese gives me so much satisfaction and I'm really not sure why. :/
Natha decided to padlock by bag's zips while I napped. :/ :')
Was feeling quite poorly that day and it escalated after dinner,
so they let me sleep for awhile. :(
THANK YOU BABES T.T
And then we sent Wenfy off and saw a rainbow around the moon!
FYI I really, really like the moon. ^^
Oh, I also slept over at Natha's place that night.
It was my first sleepover, guys. :')
Achievement unlocked at 19 years old hahahaha!
Went to bed pretty early though I was kind of supposed to resume with work.
But oh well.
Woke the next morning and had a yummy breakfast. :>
And also a yummy lunch :>
Practically continued working on our assignments till pretty late that night,
and then I bid goodbye to Natha's place and cabbed home. :)

On Monday night, we went on Skype and got no sleep.
Well, I got about 40 minutes of sleep I think.
And we headed to school looking like total sleepyheads but managed to hand in our assignments anyway. :)
After about 10 hours of sleep after getting Tuesday done with,
I managed to get my Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream yay!!!
Had our presentation on the (much burden-ful) assignment and WE'RE THROUGH WITH IT YAY!!!
(In case you're wondering, the assignment has to do with the trip to Hort Park here!.)
Also managed to pick up the copies of NP's Magazines which I AM IN HAHAHA.
Can you believe it :')
Looking through the other girls in the magazine made me a little sad as I looked at myself but  YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS still got me quite excited when I saw it hehehe!! :>

On Thursday, I got to wake up at 10am and head to some fun. ^^
Haven't bowled for a very long time.
But much thanks to this babe for calling me out!
Too many laughing incidents that day. :')
*Prepares self to walk through the rain*
Rifqa: You ready?
Lin: Yup!
Rifqa: Okay you go first, I wait here.
:'D
Rifqa: Lin, you want to try the green one? Cause it's your favorite colour!
Lin: Yeah, sure!!
Rifqa: But it's 11kg HAHAHAHA.
=.=
I GOT A STRIKE HAHAHAHA FOR ONCE AFTER FOREVER :')
I actually won in the end.
Whoop whoop!
Oh it also seemed like the screen was talking to me?!
DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO (with my balls)! >:(
Macs for lunner after that~
Haven't had Macs for a while too. O.O
And then we (quite impromptu-ly) decided to head to the west together.
Headed to Jem beacause hehehe.
^ Where you can find me.
Oh how I love seeing those signs. :')
All in all, a lovely day spent with Rifqa with laughs and stuffs.
Thank you!!

On Flannel Friday,
I wore a Flannel and eyeliner to school.
Rifqa trying to photobomb my selfie and me looking like a happy monkey. :')
The day started off really well that day, not too sure why. :/ :D
 I also wrote a book!!
've always wanted to write a book!! *.*
Headed to Jurong East again after school cause Rifqa had to get some things.
Got these bracelet (which I thought was a necklace sobz) from Lovisa, which I thought was really nice, with the quote and everything.
I just really like necklaces with subtle pendants/etc. :>
Decided to walk into Kinokuniya and guess what~~~
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Couldn't decide which hard cover I wanted, but finally decided on the one with Zoe's picture on the back.
OMIGAH was really quite ecstatic when the woman led me to this whole pile of books hehehe.
I finally have it in my hands!!!
Well done, Singapore, for selling these here!!
HEHEHE.
We also walked around Fairprice and I saw these herb plants.
Asked Mum if I could buy and look after one, and she said yes.
Hehehe but I didn't get it (didn't want to bring it all the way from JE to AMK :/) and the ones nearest to my place doesn't sell the herbs I wanted. :(
So I have yet to acquire a plant.
It's also supposed to be the bro's birthday present. :'D
've always wanted a herb garden of some sort okay. :(
You can't see it, but in H&M, it stated the height and age measurements on the mirror.
And apparently I am (the height of) 12 years old. :')
Just some more cheeky pictures of the book~
And my very happy face.

The particular week started off so horribly but ended on a really good note.
Hoping that all days to come to be just as happy too.
 Keep smiling, everyone!

Goodbye

Into Lin's head #2.

Do you think that we (subconsciously/selectively) choose
the things that make us happy?
Do you think that we (subconsciously/selectively) choose
to allow only certain people to make us happy?

Think about it,
Two different people
Can do the exact same thing to/for you
But wouldn't that voice in your head tell you
That one person doing it made you feel happier
Than the other person did?

Possible, isn't it?

If only i could put into words,
If only you know,
How insanely happy you made me feel that day.

A type of happy i haven't felt in a while..

A type of happy i wouldn't allow just anyone to give to me..

A type of happy i wish i could keep..

A type of happy i wish only i had..

Yes, i do believe that if there's something that makes you happy,
Share it,
If it's positive,
Don't be selfish and
Let others feel that happy too.

But there are also
Some kinds of happy
Which you strive or crave for
Just for yourself.

A personal kind of happy,
A type of happy you set for yourself,
A type of happy only you can determine you deserve.

I really genuinely hope you'll find it someday.

Till then.

"I, I, I, I, I want to love you
But if it's not right what can I do?"

131214; Museum Hopping #1 ACM!. ^^ :)

Hello!
Made a little trip down to the tourist-y part of Singapore today because ACM!
Came across an article in Facebook suggesting a few interesting things to do in Singapore one day and found out that entry to all Museums are free if you're a Singaporean.
And I (am such a nerd so I) love Museums.
So I managed to bring Mum & Dad with me on my Museum Hopping Adventure!
I'm going to hashtag it Mus8um. :>
 Oh Dad :'D
 Mummy! :>
Had quite a long bus ride all the way to Raffles and had a little walk~
...and realised that Singapore's actually really darn pretty?!
Haven't stepped foot here for a really long time, so it was pretty refreshing to be here and seeing Singapore like this. O.O
 Beautiful, aren't they. ^^
Strolled along the river, even with the dark clouds hovering above us.
 Dad snapped these.
As usual, 95% of my pictures consist of me in awkward poses.
 *shrugs*
Came across a dollar-ice-cream Uncle so we got ourselves some. :>
We actually almost walked past the Museum without realising.
Luckily, Dad looked up and saw this thing though. :')
#StandardSaids
Why didn't you lot tell us!!! >:(
Sat and chilled with our ice creams first, though.
(See what I did there hehe.)
This post has a lot of pictures of me standing in front of things. :/
 Told you so.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
So yup, we found out that the Museum was closing at 430pm because of a certain event that was going on that evening.
Which meant that we only had about an hour to go round the whole area.
But it was pretty sufficient though, made it just in time before we got kicked out. ^^
Really enjoyed it, but I didn't take any pictures in the Museum cause I filmed a little more. :>
Also, the phone's memory kind of hit it's limit and wouldn't let me snap/film ANYTHING.
Made me a little upset, I need unlimited phone memory stuff. :(

BUT ALAS,
not many pictures in this post because I filmed more things. :>
It's still pretty awkward but I do enjoy it.
I hope you did too!

TILL THE NEXT ONE!

191114; Hort Park, Ho(r)t Mess!.

Hi
Made a little trip to Hort Park one Thursday as part of one of our assignment requirements.
Excuse the mess that I am in this post. >< :>
Arrived at Harbourfront later than the girls and we headed for brunch!
Had feels for Chikkin Rice so I had that..
Then I had feels for Yong Tau Foo so I had that too. :x
HEHEHE.
We ended up leaving VivoCity at noon (supposed to be at Hort Park by about 11).
Hopped on a bus without being sure that it was the right one HAHAHA.
So Natha asked the bus driver who kindly told us he'll notify us when we've reached the stop. ^^
Dropped off and saw the big sign and silver bridge thingie. ^^
YAY.
Can I just say something here?
I don't know man, sometimes it just bugs me a little that the colour in my hair isn't...even?
Like there's chunks of colours here and there and not all the way through?
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. T.T
Okay back to the topic.
"Hey is this a two-way mirror?"
"I think so."
"Look, you can see the blinds inside."
"Okay let's take a picture anyway."
"Okay you can go now."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA sorry babes still luv you all. :')
Wanted to head to the Pitter Patter Potter Garden and we asked the dude at the services center for directions.
From how it looked at the map, it seemed like such a distance away from the entrance..
But once we reached, it was like O.O
It was actually just a short distance AHAHAHAH.
 Was quite disappointing though. :(
 Playgrounds..
 Child sized water cooler!
 Adult sized water cooler!
"I'm going to take a picture of this and say that the garden promotes kindness and courtesy which is part of social awareness." :'D
 Leaf prints.
"Can we go over there? I want to take a picture. ><"
Oh, my cute little bun. :>
Along the way, Wenfy just started to pick up some huge leaves..
I was not impressed/entertained until she pointed out that one leaf was equivalent to half my height.
SAY WHAAAAAAAT.
Step only.
(If you know what I mean.)
 Cool little mangrove area!
Something about mangroves always get me a little excited on the inside.
Think it was that Mangrove Tour I had at Langkawi years ago.
Walked back to the entrance to record the route but it started pouring..
So we kinda just chilled while waiting for the rain to stop.
So I had my umbrella on!
Matched my outfit too. :>
Here we go again~
Look at these weird tiny Banana things!
They look kinda yucky.
 Papaya!
More water coolers!
No child sized ones though. :/
 :>
 Tried taking an artistic picture.
Also, Natha tried pouring some water on the leaves to make it more droplet-y..
Failed miserably though. :'D
 Twisted steps!
 Spiral.
I meant spiral.
Child-friendly tap with a step so they can reach it! :>
 Hahahaha appreciated it. :>
So we practically walked the trail at least 4 times.. :')
Was quite disappointing but still an interesting experiencing nonetheless!
Would love to walk on the Forest Walk, go on the silver bridge thingie and maybe even go to the Henderson Waves next time!

Till then!
