This year, Dad's Family Day was held at the Singapore Zoo!.
Woke early with little sleep and headed out with 4/5 of The Saids.

Was going for the "Safari colours" ahahah did I pass? :P
Also, pink because it was kinda in theme with the rest of the family.

(But we only used 4, duh.)
Coupons!.
Stepped into the Zoo and the dood helped us snap some pictures using both D3K and their camera.
Quite nice that they now take pictures for us with our own cameras.
And yes, I realized that the doods wore exactly the same shirts they did to last year's family day.

Went to take the Goodie Bag and Food first~
Doesn't really show you what the Goodie Bag looks like but it was pretty cool.
Except that it has a weird lock thingie on top.
And that it only had one awkward strap.
Got this utensils pack which is pretty cool too.
Would be of good use to all the camps (that I never go to).
They were exiting the food-taking area and I tried to snap a picture, so they stopped walking.
And then I wanted to try to snap another picture but they ended up bumping into each other and the man behind caught up so it was a fail :')

The Hippo did it too, swimming down close to the glass as though it knows we're waiting for it.

Sat/slept/chilled by the glass as well, looking right back at us as we looked at them.
Human-like on so many levels it's creepy.
Made the brother climb up for a picture.
Behind are the goats baa-ing away.
Found a pavilion and decided to chill there for lunch.
We kinda forgot the coupons for the Bento Boxes so had to settle on all KFC. :(

Headed to the Elephants after.

Then we realized that the zookeepers were trying to get the elephants to get a bath by throwing bananas into the water pool thing.
"Isn't it nice, they get to have their baths AND eat at the same time." :'D
There was also a little boy (LB) talking to his parents (P) and the conversation was so cute and his mind was prolly so pure that I couldn't take it hahaha :')
LB: What are they doing?
P: They are going to bathe now~
LB: Bathe? But why use that water? Why they don't want to use hot water?

It sounded even better in Malay, he said something like "Kenapa dorang mandi pakai air tu? Pakai lah air panas.."

I then went to snap a picture because I wanted to tell you guyses about what he said, and then he went "You're going to take a picture, write what I said and post it in your blog aren't you?"

(By the way, no, they did not kill the animals just to get the heads for this thing. It's made out of wood or plastic or something.)

We decided to end our trail by taking a ride on the Tram.
We kinda started on the opposite side so the Tram kinda took us around the Zoo once more before we dropped off to exit.
